Whose Fool are You?

Something different today. As you know, I have been a lay preacher for many years. As with my writing, I have sought to be obedient and to glorify God with my spoken words. So I offfer you one of my messages, about nineteen minutes long, because I believe it is relevant to what’s going on in the world today. Of course, scripture and gospel are always relevant, but God led me to this particulare message as I was trying to decide what to post on this Friday. I hope you hear something worthwhile, and as always, I’d appreciate your feedback.

  1. A good sandwich board sign Robert. A message for all time. Stories (like yours praying for someone) always happen around those who live out the message of the cross. I was heavily influenced by the quote Jim Elliot made famous “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose”
keep speaking precise words of truth without muddying the waters. Love it.

  2. Wonderful message…The Holy Spirit is always at work. I love how you say that we must pay attention. We must be open to the Holy Spirit working within us, ‘illuminating’ our souls that we may reflect God’s love and light.
